These pictures do not fit neatly into any category but they are neat. Major Carlaw is listed as “capitalist”. In those days that was considered a very good thing indeed…at least by the “better half”. Once again while looking for photos and articles about Carlaw, I came across this article about Dunlop Tire. The quality of the photos is not great, but for those interested in Dunlop or the construction methods of the day this article from Construction [Vol. 13, no. 12 (Dec. 1920)] has a lot of info.
