Dagmar, Princess of Denmark, with her husband, Tsar Alexander III. I believe that Dagmar Avenue was named for this popular and photogenic member of the Danish Royal Family.

I grew up on Austin Ave in the late 50’s and early 60’s and I know Dagmar Ave very well. I wanted to say that I am very pleased to get a glimpse into the history of my boyhood neighbourhood. Thank you for providing this.
