Sack of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, Canada (1782) A J Wright c 1900. Although this painting by an untrained artist is of different raid almost 40 years after the attack on Ingonish, it does convey an eerie sense of impending doom. No known depictions of the raid on Ingonish exist.
