Hello, I am currently writing my grandmothers memoir. Her father George Foreman had a factor called Foreman Marine where ship engines and gear pumps were produced. Hi there, Unfortunately, I am late in replying to all these comments due to a family member being ill in hospital with COVID 19. You must mean the ship chandler, Foreman Marine Equipment Limited, at 49 Leslie Street in the 1940s. They would have been very busy with the ships being built here for service in World War II.
